1.异类
Different  beings

A poem by Yan An/Tr.by Lei Xiaoying

A crow and a fox
One on the branch
The other under the tree
Seeing the fox, the crow tries to show her voice
Seeing the crow, the fox wants to give an eloquent tongue

A crow and a fox
The two different beings who knows each others' hidden secrets
After the competition of showing the talents by theirs singing and wiles
Far away on the other side

Silence and neat freak

A poem by Yan An/Tr.by Lei Xiaoying

His study room is so clean and neat
That even a mosquito finds no place to land
A little display, and a little fake
I don't like it

Her expression is so clean and natural
That even the dust will feel ashamed to stay
Obvious, she is quite sensitive and quite reserved
I really like it

To tidy up stones

A poem by Yan An/Tr.by Lei Xiaoying

I have ever met a person who tidies up stones
Alone in the pile, and back turned to the crowd
With a coarse voice like a rooster
He talks to the stones all day long

The stones were from the mountains
Piece by piece from the quarry
Must be tidied up one by one
So that the nature of orderliness and upright
To appears with poignant and demure
And To eliminate the traces of having ever been damaged by iron
Seems low with his slightly hunchback
Is the man who works on stones wholeheartedly
Over and over, He rubs those stones
That have been damaged and now been tidied up again
I have even seen him, how
To scrutinize his shadow on huge stone wall
His expression is so dedicated and contented
As if meeting a long lost friend unexpectedly

I have ever met a person to tidy up stones
At first glance, a bit aloof, like a prisoner
Making unusual sound out of stones
But keep silence for himself
He piles up stone one by one
Like playing rhythm of a grand symphony
He is the man that has great quality of persistence
And fine texture as stone

I have ever met a person who tidy up stones
I would rather believe that you saw him too
Even maybe, at certain day of month in certain year
You were the man who have ever tidied up stones
You were the person who tidy up stones
